Jephthah served as a judge over Israel for six years following the leadership of Jair. Jephthah was a Gileadite but was born of a prostitute, and all but forgotten by his family and Israel. He became a mighty warrior and when the enemy came seeking war, the leaders turned to Jephthah for help, Jephthah turned to God. Today pastor Steven looks at the rash and needless vow he made before the Lord, and how it impacted him as a father, and as a leader.
